Permalink newyorkgirlstyle: Nicole Scherzinger Wears Stunning Twitter Dress Nicole Scherzinger stepped out to the EE (Everything Everywhere network) launch party on Thursday night wearing a gown with a built-in, live, Twitter feed! The dress displayed live tweets, directed at EE, U.K.’s first 4G mobile network, as she walked the event. The dress showed real-time, live tweets from people tweeting @EE with hash tag #tweetthedress. Fans were able to tweet live at Nicole and give her shout outs as she walked around the event and as she performed on stage.  Rechargeable via USB, it contains over 2,000 LED lights embedded in the French chiffon dress that lit up as a new tweet was sent. The dress, made by CuteCurcuit took two months to make and includes 3,000 Swarovski crystals. Let’s not forget to mention the dress fit Scherzinger perfectly and sparkled under the lights for photographers. This is not the first time CuteCurcuit stepped into the spotlight. Designers Francesca Rosella and Ryan Genz designed Katy Perry’s 2010 Met Gala dress that lit up the Gala and singer Imogen Heap wore a CuteCircuit dress to the 2010 Grammy Awards. CuteCurcuit designs clothing that is a new kind of interactive fashion- wearable technology. Much of CuteCurcuit clothing involves LED lights, but the dress Scherzinger wore was the first to have Swarovski crystals and have a successful interactive live tweet component. Truly a brilliant technological and clothing innovation, this dress turned heads.
